The Somali Youth Climate Association is dedicated to empowering Somali
youth and fostering positive change in the face of climate change. Our
goals are structured around three key pillars: climate action, youth
participation, and women’s involvement. We strive to implement impactful
initiatives, from awareness campaigns and sustainable projects to advocating
for climate-friendly policies at local and national levels. The organization
places a strong emphasis on engaging youth through dialogue, workshops,
and forums, aiming to nurture their active involvement in decision-making
processes concerning environmental issues. Additionally, we are committed
to promoting women’s leadership roles in the organization and addressing
gender-specific environmental challenges. Global solidarity forms the
backbone of our collaborative efforts, as we actively seek partnerships and

network of like-minded organizations and individuals, we aim to amplify
